I have a client who came to me one and a half year back. This client has an e-commerce website which sells diamond jewelry and Joe rodeo watches. I must say he had spent a good amount of money on its aesthetic design and product but the site was making no money. It was not producing a single penny. Few years’ back the jewelry business was as competitive as it is today.
The site was good, the navigation was superb, at first sight it seemed like a big brand but yet why did it fail to produce sell products? It didn’t rank any where either on Google, Yahoo or Bing (Earlier, msn).

Within six months the client was ranking in top 5 for keywords 10 to 15 keywords and within a year he ranks on first page for almost approx. 50 highly competitive keywords.
Now the client’s website is a reputed brand and his turnover goes more than a million per year.
